I want to be a bug in the grass

I want to be a bug in the grass

I want to be a bug in the grass

But as I lay in the grass doing my stretches,

I realize.

I am a bug in the grass!

Smaller than trees and bigger than bees

rolling around in sweet harmony

sweet bliss that sparkles through my being

green green green

clouds of rainbow entities shine

the dance through the caverns of my mind

they swirl and sing and clear out

it's jah jah within and without

colors vibrantly touch my skin

down to the level of the flies

I repent

look far and wide

get a lay of the land to cleanse my eyes

feel the soft breeze of planes above

and travelers galore

a quest into the heart

only for the brave of heart

but oh how sweetly

a bug plays in the grass

me
