for some people like to buy things

others like to have no things

the importance placed on a grandmother's cake stand

or scrounging up $10 for your roommates carrot cake

they are all one in the same

for we are people

for we all have our virtue

for we are all the same

no matter how we place

our time

our attention

you can try to escape!

but we all have our virtues

a paradoxical life
